Little House Big Alaska's Easy Ground-Beef Homemade Jerky

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds lean ground beef

  • 4 teaspoons salt

  • 4 teaspoons smoke flavor

  • 2½ teaspoons black pepper

  • 4 teaspoons dried minced garlic

  • 4 teaspoons onion powder

Directions

  • break up the ground beef in a mixing bowl

  • sprinkle everything on top and mix thoroughly

  • refrigerate overnight

  • make strips with jerky gun

  • put meat strips on trays

  • turn dehydrator on to 145˚-155˚

  • dehydrate for 5-8 hours (to taste)
