Mom's White Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 (4 oz.) cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 egg yolk

  • Salt & Pepper

Directions

  • Cook cream cheese, cream and water in a sauce pan over low heat until melted

  • Temper yolk with some sauce then readd to sauce pan

  • Stir constantly over low heat for few minutes until sauce thickens
